Draped in the glory
of a wintertime sunset,

I could almost forgive you
for taking my leaves away.

Sometimes a tree must drop it's leaves
to stay warm and comfy during the cold
winter days.  I think that old tree understands...

Loved the vision you shared.

This is delightful, dear EmmaRose. Bare branches can be incredibly elegant and "sunset draped" they shine like pure gold.

This speaks to me and your beautiful words have also metaphoric meaning.

lovely images Emma.. I love trees during all the seasons...especially with the snow and I echo what Margherita said too. Lovely metaphors.

This is classy, Emma, beautiful wordplay for this spectacular poetry . . .
