* * *

Come to me now!
Move out of the haze
approach me in full starlight
gather all the colors
you find on your path
wear them like a comet’s tail
and when you are close enough
wrap them around our shoulders.

Come to me now!
I have been waiting
for this eternal moment
when we become everything
we have dreamed to be,
when we merge into one,
when we blend
beyond imagination,
when we transform
into the supreme being of love,
when we move in synchrony
with the perpetual universal dance.

Come to me now!
Move with me to the tune of love
resounding within and around us.
Come and let us be part
of the divine cosmic choreography.
Inhale and exhale life’s essence.
Become aware of our true potential
to be stars among the stars
where words are emissions of light
and every interaction
renews the perfect harmony
in every single moment,
as it was meant to be
from the beginning.

Come to me now!

Margherita,I could not help but to read into this a past love calling and giving permission for a loved one to join him/or her in a new peaceful existence. My brother died about six years ago and his first high school sweet heart and wife  died today in a Hospice. It seem so fitting that I should read this lovey poem tonight. I hope you do not mind if I print it out to share with their children. love to you,jo

Thank you so much, dear JL, for reading and commenting so kindly. Yes I know I have been away for quite some time and I have missed coming here and writing. Trying now to "surrender" to the seduction of spirit again...

Dear Victoria, thank you kindly for your loving comment and for reading even in the archives. I much enjoy your poetry too. Hugs.

Dear Kathleen, I am always happy when you visit Pip. Thank you so much for loving this and telling me so!

Dear Martyjo, your words regarding your beloved brother and his wife touch my heart and I love what you have perceived in this write. The reunification of soulmates is indeed what we all yearn for! Yes, I can imagine the joy of both in meeting again. It is a honour for me if you deem my words comforting for their offspring. I thank you from my heart.

Love to all,
Margherita

I loved this piece.  It resonates warmth and love, and a profound awakening of sorts that coinsides with an absence of grief and frustration.  Personally, I felt felt I was witnessing the rapture here and it was a wonderful depiction if so... but that's the most beautiful thing a good writing, it reaches every reader in a very different, but equally emotionally felt way.  Exellent write.

Margherita,I have recieved "thanks you's" from my nephews and nieces. They loved the poem and I am pleased. This family is so very family oriented. Their mother had been in a home for many years and only last week in a Hospice. One or more of her five children were there daily, she was never without family all these years. Marge was 84 and was always smiling. The last few photos of her showed her with her family around her and she always wore that beautiful grin. Thank you again for this lovely poem. jo

Thank you so much, dear Michael, for your loving comment. I enjoyed your considerations. Yes, that kind of rapture that occurs in higher spheres, where true fusion finds no obstacles.

Dear Martyjo, that is wonderful, when an old Mom is never left alone! Her warm smile and serenity was certainly a blessing for all those close to her. When love circulates in the families, the warmth and wellbeing of the hearts expands. Thank you so much for sharing this with me. May this Mom soar high in the skies of eternity.

Dear Jerry, what can I say to thank you for your generous comment? It did me good.

Love to all.

How lovely to read one of your beautiful poems again after such a long time.  I'm glad that you stopped long enough to listen and to write.  Surrender is perhaps the name of the game.

My best to you Margherita!

Margherita, this is so incredible.  Makes me think of the path that my Mom is heading down.

Move out of the haze

gather all the colors
you find on your path
wear them like a comet’s tail
and when you are close enough
wrap them around our shoulders.

This poem is a keeper for me.  It just 'does' it for me.
