I am not white, I am not black,
I like sometimes the night,
I love sometimes the day,

I am sometimes the wheat, the bright wheat,
I am sometimes the rye for the unfortunate donkeys,
I take what I can to the colors of ladies,

I am not white, I am not black,
I am sometimes coal in the eyes of the girls,

sometimes ivory to hold out in the cunning hands,

I am sometimes the snow on a lost rail,
sometimes the fearful soot
within fireplaces of heart,

I am not white, I am not black,
I am sometimes caress on the paleur of bosoms,
I am sometimes decency in the lava of volcanoes

I am as tears, filled with all the reflections,
I am from the sea which change faces.

I am not white, I am not black,
I am a chessboard
where you place your pawns,
I am a chessboard
where pawns are damned,
I change color
In every kiss....

thanks ida, i wanted to underline differences of mood and contradictories in myself, as sometime black, sometime white, i am not uniform and have ups and downs,
