I wrote my name in the sky so you would remember me but the sky forgot my name I am not a memory I carved my name into a tree so you would remember me but that tree was lost to greed I am not a memory I wrote my name in the sand so you would remember me but the waves washed my name away I am not a memory I whispered my name into your ear so you would remember me but you did not want to hear my name I can not be a memory |
