Again
With colors
You seldom had
I paint your portrait
Over memory’s wall

One gesture as symbol
Despite how you were
Unconscious oblivious
Under long blond hair

Oh look I say
She was beautiful
Shaped and shaded
In perfect hues

So wonderful to love
With all love’s urge

A joy to have
And better to lose
