I Can Tell |

I can tell it in your walk and by the way you hold your shoulders I can see it in your eyes and by the way you rub your head I can hear it in your voice and by the way you say you feel You are on a path I know well It is fraught with black quicksand thoughts that would take you down to despair It has steep loose rock slopes that would take you for a fall It has indecision brambles that tear at your every side It is a path that spirals downward that would unstopped bring demise I suffer with you helplessly as you wrestle with your fears Knowing the frustration of being held captive by your own emotions As I hold you close and say everything will be okay LGR(C)8/11/13 |
