she mentioned with a librarian lady like kind of an air and those low cut buttons on advertising tan distractions within the valley of her bosom, leading me into temptation to ignore the gulls above, reciting their bickering how the eucalyptus trees were nudist nymphs with very thin skin in layers for the taking never aging beyond the perfect vintage but also vulnerable to the winds of evening when they moaned around eave dancing music I spent hours inside the lounge of her eyes acting like a stranger that found a home and she blinked on occasion as if to assure that the seat I had taken was with me in mind although she bought it at her own yard sale after sorting through all those useless watches that always reminded her of what time it was when she was trying to forget every moment that had already been documented and returned to the appropriate shelf of memory memorials and she just wanted something timeless, but quickly ______________ daark |
