Ultimate Freedom Over the mountains they come Under a blue arch they flow Great eagle wings soar on them Warming Chinook winds lift me My spirit joins the current Flying where it will take me Over golden mustard fields Fields green with young wheat and rye None will with hold or stop me I give myself permission There is none to tell me no My life is now unfettered I am who I want to be I can travel in my mind Write words that come from my heart Direct feelings where I will I belong to me alone I have the right to feel soft Tenderness and love fills me I have ultimate freedom Karen Mc Neil June 27, 2012 *may our dreams ever be magical* |

Well, Karen it's a wonderful description of ultimate freedom. LOve the positive nature of the verses, and good for you! Eric true love never looks after it's own interests |

This is just wonderful. A poem which celebrates your ultimate freedom, Karen. There is nothing quite like the feeling that you can think, say and be whoever you want without a scowl, a tsk-tsk, or a laugh. Great poem and your wordplay was perfect. Perfect. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |
