The depression The despair I have a college degree But the employer doesn't care All day, everyday I send resumes And customize cover letters Only to never get an answer I check every major job website And apply to everything in sight Even positions where I'm overqualified I'm barely getting by It's kinda ironic that I have no cash But as I search for a job I'm bombarded with ads The news says poverty Is the new middle class Ruthless loan companies Still harass college grads I wish I could defer payment Until the economy scraped itself Up off the pavement People are getting desperate At this point mental toughness Is my only asset They say it gets greater later We'll see... |

This discouraging and despairing reality grips far too many people... I hope your search is successful soon! |
