            Reason to Be

Only True Love’s finest moments
give 'Time' any meaning ...
remaining in memory
both ‘moving’....yet immovable,
not desiring....but desirable,
anchoring self within selflessness ...
I am a Phoenix raised by her love
from the ash of burned roses
mid sounds of distant mandolins
with notes in sliding harmony
and chords of liquid passion
burning like fire and moonlight ...
She is my very reason to be!

I really like your flowing words but feel it sad for any one to feel they need another's love "to be". You to me have much to give and do right here on these blue pages and I dare say in other places also.Best to you,jo

What Jo said but that doesn't take anything away from a great write. You have well described how someone's love can make us feel but I somehow think it's rather our love for someone else whether returned or not that makes us feel like that.

Magical, absolutely magical. LOVE is the reason to BE and when it is offered in the form you describe, we finally understand. It is all rooted in Universal Love.
