Love Life

I suppose I could cry myself
to sleep each night
thinking that my life
is not just right
but in the morning
the thoughts are still there
the desires I want to share
with the woman I love,
now so far away in her presence
and slowly but surely
drifting away in my memory.

There is hope for you, James, this is the first sign that she is drifting further and further away in your thoughts. I doubt you think so, but it is a vital step in your comeback.
