I’m hidden behind the make-up
The costumes and the scenes
But he always knew my weakness
And that most of my lines are not what I mean

Watching me from the balcony
And waiting for me off stage
When I see him, I start looking for my lines
Page by torn up page

I keep acting like I’m fine
But I’m an actress, that’s what I do
And then I realize, at the end of my show
I’m nothing without you
