                PRAY TOGETHER

             Nothing is so hard to face
           When you ask for Heavens grace.
              They who pray together
             Well surely stay together.

              You will never stumble
             If you'll just be humble.
           Peace and comfort there abide
          With your loved one by your side.

            Fear and sorrow, hand in hand
            Though you try to understand.
           Seek the Lord in fervent prayer,
            For His love is everywhere.

          Ask for guidance, foolish being.
         In love and marriage, everything.
            For if you pray together,
          You will surely stay together.

             If you are man and wife
         And you pledge your soul and life.
          When earthly duty then is done
          Hand in hand you'll be as one.

Dear Billie, this is true. In prayer we can find a very powerful tool to overcome difficulties together, but I fear if there is not a solid tradition of praying in the family of origin, it will not be easy to accomplish this goal.

Yo Billie,

In the end, God takes care of those who treat their fellow humans well.

It doesn't necessarily involve prayer.

Thanks to all of you for reading my work.

I think all of us pray in our hearts even if we do not realize that we are doing so. It's a built in thing. We are human. You know like, "thank God".etc, etc

Oh how I love this! Beautiful and truthful words, yes God is good and He does answer prayer~especially within a marriage convenant.

When I was a child, bedtime was worship time... my parents believed in never going to bed mad... and such a habit insures that doesn't happen. *S* Wise and wonderful write!
