From Me To We (more light rock ballad than anything) One early workday morning when the Owl was flying home and the dawn is full of wonders I suddenly came to know. You were a special flower in the greenhouse of my soul cause you'd wait for me for hours but I never watched you grow. chorus Now everytime I look around I see you growing leaps and bounds and everytime you call my name There's love in your voice again Now I'm content to be with you and do the things we used to do From me to we I'm loving you. I tried hard to win at life Many nights found you alone I couldn't see your heart receed While I was far away from home I thought you would share the spoils So I didn't feel your grief Almost lost you in this life Caught you fading from the scene chorus Now everytime I look around I see you growing leaps and bounds and everytime you call my name There's love in your voice again Now I'm content to be with you and do the things we used to do From me to we I'm loving you. bridge the need for a new beginning unfolded bold and clear we were more than bedroom lovers before my world of work appeared So on a bridge across disaster I crawled back to you in tears. chorus Now everytime I look around I see you growing leaps and bounds and everytime you call my name There's love in your voice again Now I'm content to be with you and do the things we used to do From me to we I'm loving you. |
