The constant of love

Beyond the infinitely small
and the infinitely large
revealed to searching minds,
Universe speaks through energies,
laws and harmonies
that can be captured
only by wide open hearts.

A secret tune
of immeasurable beauty
and perfection plays
somewhere outside
the known limits,
unless when it reaches
our innermost
strings of perception
in precious moments
of deep connection.

Beyond the Planck’s constant
related to quantum mechanics
another constant plays the main role
in the mind boggling design of cosmos.

It’s the constant of love,
the power of creation,
it’s the breath of life
animating all things,
a wild dance of passion
performed throughout
everything and nothing
within and beyond the very edge
of what we can attempt to decode
through our human brains.

All life is born of love.

Love is when we breathe together
when our eyes meet
when our feet are stuck
and won’t move unless in unison,
when we are drawn into each other
by the divine law of attraction,
when radiation is self produced
through the alignment of every cell
to the cosmic dance of life.
When every particle becomes conscious
of being part of the whole.

Beyond everything logical and illogical
there is love ...

It is the answer we all yearn for.

And the answer hit me through you.

Superb blueprint for life and, yes, for love. Love, some say is a four-letter word. It can be perplexing and downright elusive, but love is the reason for passion unleashed notwithstanding lust, which is as an integral part of love as siring and giving birth to children.

But even love needs constant gardening, keeping the wildweeds, cockaburs, and strange fruit from getting a toehold. Love is work and I, for one, have over the years been negligent when it came to upholding the constant gardening and I am paying for it now in my old age. Wonderful, meaningful poetry.

Love indeed is a motivating force beyond much of our existance.  Whether it is the only one is a matter subject to debate for their are dark forces that also operate and misguide our actions.  I guess it comes down to free will which path we decide to pursue.

Aha.

Thank you, for decoding the "A-ha" moment for us all. (I told you guys, she lives in that stuff.)

You are what is meant by the scriptural advice of "With all your wisdom, get understanding.)

If in the end, we are to eat words, I'd much rather have what you're having.

Oh, Margherita, it`s good to read you again~!     First I was lost in the captivating picture... then in your words themselves.  Wonderful write... I found myself smiling and nodding by the end!     Very thought-provoking, yet accesible, still.
.
I love this line:
`when radiation is self produced`...!! So true on so many levels.  I also like that you center-justified this, it fits the piece so well.
.
My best to you~
Amaryllis

Love the title Margherita. It's a perfect way to start reading this.

Yes, the many vehicles of life are kept in order by, "The Constant Of Love."

Thank goodness for that!

Superb!

Thank you so much, dear Jerry, for your thoughtful and very generous comment. I perceive you as a person who shares love and who is conscious of its power, in the NOW. And that is what counts. Yes, in human relationships love needs to be tended to like a flower, but the simple consciousness of LOVE's immense energy will induce us to act in its name ... so that it will bloom quite naturally.

*******

Dear Earl, thank you for your kind comment and wise ponderings. Yes, we do live in this world of duality and we do have the choice. As sentient beings we are called to choose well. By loving also those who don't love us and those who prefer the shadows to the light, we create healing energy and contribute to peaceful evolution ...

*******

Thank you so much, dear Karen, for your loving comment. It is true that I try to live in “that stuff”, but no one is immune to opposite winds and infiltrations of “muddy stuff” … it is also true that I am aware of the power of love, many times I had proof of this. The scriptures give good advice, but our human nature often seems inadequate to understand all of life’s mysteries. I believe in love and in light that reaches our hearts even if we sit in the darkest corners of melancholy and cynic despair… ever so often.

*******

Dear Amaryllis, spirit of joy and wonderful poetic mind, thank you for your kind comment. Yes, Love in its infinite manifestations, is always thought provoking and it is most certainly a central theme (and energy) of our existence, so it deserves center stage (but I do use this possibility almost in all of my poetic offerings).

*******

Dear James, thank you for reading and for telling me you enjoyed my words.

*******

Dear Prasad, it's nice that you are back reading, writing and commenting. Thank you so much for your kind reply.

********

Thank you, dear s1nfully_1nn0c3nt, for your loving comment. Yes rational understanding alone would not do, it's the feelings that expand understanding.

******

Cher Yann, thank you from my heart for your warm and loving comment. Your appreciation is precious to me.

******

Thank you, dear Maureen, for telling me you enjoyed my words. I am happy that you had a double pleasure by reading also the comments. You are right, I agree with your opinion.

********

Dear DS, thank you for peeking in and for detecting the "soft and fragile edges". The foundations of love are as solid as rocks, but the improvisations around the theme of love can be as soft as can be ...

******

Dear Martie, your loving comment warms my heart. Thank you so much.

******

Dear Jeff, good to see you are back too! Glad you enjoyed my words. Thank you very much.

******

Thank you, dear Mikeandrew, for reading and commenting so kindly.

******

Dear Eric, I am grateful for your loving comment and very glad that you appreciated my "constant of Love".

Love to all,
Margherita

Nebulae is where stars are born, and light displays itself upon the universe.  Sometimes it lays itself out in lines of poetry like this and my gives birth to love in sweet array.

Lovely, Margherita!

Dear Margherita - I do know that all you say is true and in my moments of not "feeling it" I can at least return to the knowing.  You write so well of the true essence of love.  Thank you.

Most Excellent! There is no part better than the rest, but I'd have to say I really liked that last major stanza. The last line was perfect. Thanks for sharing. Peace & Love.

While this appears to be written for soul mates, it also equates to a mother's love, especially here...

quote:
A secret tune
of immeasurable beauty
and perfection plays
somewhere outside
the known limits,
unless when it reaches
our innermost
strings of perception
in precious moments
of deep connection.

And this resounds in me greatly, as tomorrow is my eldest daughter's birthday.

Thank you, Margherita. To each poem, comes the appropriate time for reading.

Love, K

Margherita: Deeply spiritual! Paradoxical but true! If we can all feel the ONE with human beings and all senitent creatures , wars would cease..greed, anger, backbiting would all vanish in hugs and kisses! LOVE is the Question And the Answer!
Wonderful poem!
