Quiet the morning
takes the song from birds
and wakes the sweater of silence

Who can disturb the air there?

Wings fluff on the rooftop,
diffused by sky and funnelled
along edges of lavender
where waiting is sweet
and there's no need to fly.

Your poem brings out the best in poetry.
Your thoughts are always so warm and soft.

Happy Holidays to you Martie~

There is nothing ordinary about your poetry, miss. You can make the ordinary extra-ordinary as well as anyone....just like this!

Only you, Sis...can
disturb air,
because your dreams fly
so high!

OH, I can see this, Martie, so plainly and the fluff of feathers waiting on sunshine.  Uncalculated beauty.  Thank you for sharing.

This day is your day for nature and beautiful poetry concerning nature. Ah . . . "waiting is sweet / no need to fly." Yep.

Beautiful, Martie - as usual I might add. I've never thought of waiting as sweet but, yes, it most certainly can be.

Finest writing. One needs no flight to enjoy the beauty of nature. Great thought.

your ability to make the ordinary
extra-ordinary
is what defines YOU as a poet, Martie.
Very nicely penned, amiga!

You make the heart fly without wings, resting on mystic ground.

Always perfection from you, dear Martie.

Love,
Margherita
