Dear poet of color and words all crazy joy above some sad.

See in this letter, me wrapped in words that come from the underside of the ocean, the color not the place, is tuned in behind my eyes when closed and the monsters I'll eliminate and re-name, Not Very Scary, and send some other place.

Do you know the color of remarkable? Like a child's newborn eyes, that is how words fix and mend and blather most of the time with sound and light within.

To harness thought is my day long for they run away and jump the fence to freedom on the other side away from mind.

No matter what the sound, it is my song. Some parts stay behind and bleed and sing and weep and play a beat within my soul, even rhyme (but barely) in the way someone or other thinks I should, instead all mixed and wired into good.

I'm happy to read the sunny can shine and to know something of your way and time...even would like more. I hope you gift it with this opening we make, from place to far off place, made close by only words.

I've written private things to you...you may not even want to know, but the heart is my muse this minute and so on and on it goes.
-------------

Thank you, PIP poet friends, for who you are and what you've contributed to my life.  A repost it's true, for all of you.

Amazingly enow, thoughts are most free when harnessed to the plow of destiny. (Oh what a horrible rhyme: enow & plow... or is that plough?)

Thanks, Martie, for the re-post, and a great big second on that Happy Thanksgiving!

...and so on and on it goes...

as only a Flower girl can appreciate,
yet she continues to share the
mushroom ring and tales of love...

Happy Thanksgiving, my dear Sis...

"Do you know the color of remarkable? Like a child's newborn eyes, that is how words fix and mend and blather most of the time with sound and light within" really beautiful words. Fine writing, Martie.

Dear Poet

Know my desire, so you may understand
feel my warmth, so you will be comforted.
touch my hand, so easier the path travelled.

Know that miles and time cannot seperate our amity
and that distance grows the longing.
Know that wishes are fond friends we cannot keep for long.
and know that if the blessings of the world
were but mine to give
they would adorn you, always,
for your intentions are golden gifts of prose, and for sharing that trust,
I will always be your friend.

Happy Thanksgiving, Martie, to you and family,
and to all the PIP poets and families,
