Autumn Sorrows The last November leaves dance through cool, clear moonlight to plaintive evening tunes of a winnowing wind and the dying year, as we recall all loves lost and Autumn remembers Summer’s final rose. --- b. e. adams (11/6/2010) |

Nicely done Bruce in a pensive, esp. in a melancholy way. Reflections presented in an easy open manner. Eric |

Autumn is a good time to recall our lost loves. there is something about the dying of the leaves that call out to withered loves. . . . and the Raven said, %!~#&(!$! |

Autumn does seem to be a time of remembrance. Memories play on my mind at this time of year. Your recent poems have been exceptional, Bruce. Ida |

That's a lovely rose to be remembered by. The simple beauty in your work is breathtaking, and I just love reading you, dreampoet. |

Ah, Bruce, our leaves are long gone. The snow is stacking up, the temperatures are plummeting - and I understand the sorrow leaving summer's beauty behind. Autmn aches with vivacious color - and opens the door for the chill that has set in. Love your poetry, guy. Alison |
