. Sometimes In a white dress Diaphanous Or a long wool coat With its collar up A pull over sweater And pale blue jeans A new born fawn With soft brown eyes A kitten playing With a ball of string Azure skies A golden moon Through autumn leaves The rising and ebbing Tides of the sea I never Dream you As intelligent I just realized that Today . |

Sometimes intelligence is knowing when to just allow visions to be kept. |

Updike had one of his fictional women say that men just "like to hit or be hit." Pulchritude is a visceral, hard-wired hit; intelligence takes a little longer. Great write, and I appreciate the snow-queen imagery. |

John, enjoyed reading you this morning. I sometimes wonder why some feel that way when not dreaming.(left over pity-me morning) M |
