I thought about you today. Actually, I thought of how little I have thought about you over the years. I suppose I could have painted that romantic picture of first love in my mind... as so many do. Or I could do as I have done and just remember... you. Ida Werrett [This message has been edited by Marchmadness (10-17-2010 09:43 PM).] |

I like this - reminiscing about what we shared with someone instead of what we could've been. Enjoyed this. -Trina. |

That's great, dear Ida, every now and then the first love pops into our mind. It can't be forgotten, in one way or another it is bound to accompany us even if "in sordina". Love, Margherita |

I am pensive looking back, knowing how much I've changed and wondering, too, what is left to recognize of those the years have separated from us. Nothing stays the same. I like this poem a lot. It is nice to be remembered. ~K |

I could have written something similar for a man I knew (and remember often, but not as often as I once did) excellent writing! |

Nice one, Ida! I seem to be going down memory lane a lot lately - must be an age thing. Helen |

I enjoyed your perspective here... not all 'first loves" are remembered romantically, nor do they deserve to be. Sometimes, we do, just need to remember |
