It's there in the way you act towards me In the things you do And in the things you say Better than me... If I didn't know I'd believe it was meant to be this way Because there's no rhyme there's no reason and no cause But it is just the same and you always have It's the way you are with me Rolling your eyes and curling your lip You do to me with your words that tear Speak to me with your works that bruise Give to me your looks that loathe Because you believe You'll cause a scene for the sake of a show Like an empty can rattling its worth Blue in the face Black of the tongue Cold in your heart But what does that matter if you truly believe You're better than me If I didn't know better If I didn't know you and I didn't know me I might believe it too...
