Liu Xiaobo Nobel Prize Democracy Chinese imprisoned dissident defiant stand for Democracy, Communist imprisonment for the right to use Free Speech. Freedom crushed like a Tiananmen tank Lady Liberty figure That Red China tries to hide from Histories Truth’s deposition. Mohandas Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Dalai Lama, Aung San Suu Kyi Peace giants for non-violent change for Human and Civil Rights. Who are testaments against authoritarian rule in peaceful decent In advocating equal civilian representation in government policies. Norway intimidated by Red Chinese Communist Party threats. Stating they would suffer China’s wrath and retribution for Xiaobo. But the Nobel committee did what Gandhi did, ignored the risk That Red China might give Norway an 11 year prison sentence. Literary scholar intellectual human rights activist and poet Whose flight of words created the Charter 08 manifesto That says China should have an independent judiciary With Democratic elections of diversity in all levels of leadership. So in support of Liu Xiaobo and Democracy create a poem That shows the heart of Democracy’s Free Speech doctrine In a worldwide tribute to those individuals that risk their lives That a flood of poems and congratulations reach Red China For Liu Xiaobo’s release.
