If I would let you love me, I really think you would. I wish that I could drop my guard- I'd like to if I could. But the wall which stands between us, Took years for me to build... It seems the tender side of me- The process slowly killed. So I am on the outside, now- Forlornly looking in. Wishing I could turn back time- And start my life again. The clock of life is wound but once- And whether right, or wrong- Decisions are immutable- And chances missed...are gone! |

its always hard to let down the guard or tear down the walls... your poem speaks for the fear in all of us that makes it hard to let someone in.. well done sir |

"All in all, we're just another brick in the wall..." I understand your sentiments well, 'slinger. You combine excellent form and good thoughts to speak to the reader in ways not too many can...once again, nice work. |
