Butterfly A butterfly enters the room Wings spread all apart She has surely Captured my heart Her colors galore Her wings so frail She lands on my bed On my bed rail I reach out to touch her My hand turns gold She has given me What she has behold The room turns to glitter And I see all around On top of my head Her wings she has crowned All of a sudden My arms turn to wings And I let out These beautiful sings I fly away Far from here Where no one can hurt me I no longer have fear For more poems visit my website at www.wordsbybeth.com |
