officer : Eve’s jeans were a little less than perfect which was unusual partner : what about her cuisuine? officer : you mean the pinto beans and greens? delicious detective : i assume Howard's culinary touch was vicious as usual officer : it was detective : well this looks pretty nutricious to me lets tell the captain [later] partner : so you see captain these guys are no typical cooks they’re born and bred to crumble over each other’s cornbread lieutenant : and you checked the Olive Garden? officer : we did captain : good job guys i have to admit i’m impressed it was pretty ambitious of you two solving this case by yourselves partner : thanks captain officer : thanks captain [after they leave] captain : so what do you think? lieutenant : a pair of silly olives if you ask me captain : i’m not sure i’m buying it lieutenant : why not captain : well Howard has a sweet tooth he’s famous for it so where are the desserts? and then you have all this sweet poetry handed to her without her at least trying it i don’t know lieutenant : so you’re saying we should be talking the the guys at the International House of Pancakes? captain : i’m saying maybe we should be talking the guys at Coffee and Chocolate [lieutenant whistles] i’ll get a pot of coffee love, eve & howard |

I happen to be a big fan of this style...and how it leaves the reader to take it for nonsense or for something that lies deeper... you carry it off well... I look forward to the next |
