Bamboo love Raindrops play my skin in rhythmic flagellation, echoes from careless whispers wet my perceptivity. Heart petals open to absorb the healing touch of soul filtered tears. In silence I move through this liquid embrace of nature’s lullaby. Trees bless my passage with sympathetic bows inviting me to listen. Within the falling rain I hear the sound of my love for you as it grows and grows swiftly like bamboo in ceaseless power shoots upon everlasting roots. I keep walking and wonder if you can hear this sound too? To know I lean into the wall of this soothing waterfall from where your voice springs and plants a feeling of wings into the core of me. Uncontainable like the rain the awareness rises from my soul into my brain that within the core of you you do hear that sound too. Just when we think we have consumed it all it sprouts again and again as precious as ever for me and for you just as swiftly as bamboo ... * |

Ahh, my friend...I caught "the bump"... And just for that, here's a little gift from Hawaii... with love... like the bamboo. [I swear, I thought I could hear it growing!] |

Dear one,I do not know how you keep coming up with these beautiful words. But keep on, as I love to read them. P.S. A corner of my yard shared with three other yards is full of tall bamboo giving that corner a bit of privacy and some interesting small animals. latearrival |

Very beautiful... the rain sound is also the sound of applause! And I can relate to rain with bamboo, too. |

nicely doen ma'am... bambo, being a grass is an interesting plant and an interesting metaphor for something that grows.... like the way you've mixed sound into the imagery.. |

Margherita....lovely read, this was beautiful...you've place a soul in nature, one of which was always there, but most of us are way to busy to notice....that voice and caress of sun, moon, air and all that resides within...lovely |

Fabulous poem, Margherita~ |
