seasons’ cadence As the first hints of Autumn come gently, mingling with late-Summer scents and a touch of Winter’s breath on the voiceless winds of such a lovely evening, cast aside mortality’s heavy cloak of infinite scheme, fear, and worry. Walk on into the unknown immensity of nature and the future, through this free and boundless moonlight, embracing only transience and change as the ultimate certainties. --- b. e. adams 9/18/2010 |

I especially liked "Walk on into the unknown immensity of nature and the future" and "only transience and change as the ultimate certainties". All beautifully written as usual. thank you for showing how it should be done. |

I wonder if change is a certainty, The seasons change but return in the same way again and again. But there I go...thinking again when I should just be enjoying this beautiful poem. Ida |

Yes ... I can feel this, dear Bruce. Your ability to perceive such beauty is a certainty too ... and where does it come from? Most beautiful! Love, Margherita |

like begets like, sir... Summer holds like maple's winter sap once warmed, releases... still in the shadow of a long haul but a moment's rendered breath iced by winds from north will change for long winter's pall the darkness will harbor future... yet hope declares, forge on and thought of forging brings heat for the clang of steel the cling of hope the skill of man to meet all travail. |
