In Laboratories Great Winter stars have returned to the morn, And gentle breezes are cooler now. Far out to sea a hurricane churns, Taking Summer in its wake somehow. I don't need to tell them. They will find out the hard way. Beating me with drugs and tedious dreams is not as fun, not as fun as it seems. Far away, in laboratories great, Atom-smashing toddlers are tempting fate, Revealing planetary turns and rings. The airplane's sound fades upon distant wings. A siren song sung to the merciful now held hostage. A divinity of hand-shaping ends, some things they shall know of dancing, dreaming. |

You make me think of the Universe which dances its timeless perfect dance, independently of our discoveries. In laboratories there should be found answers that mean progress, scientific progress and let's hope that it will be so. New experiments, like particle acceleration, may frighten, but hopefully they know what they do! Your poem is well written and I like it, though it's also enigmatic. Love, Margherita |

Thanks, Margherita. It's good to be hopeful. |
