Unyielding Memory

On the cusp of a decade, when evidence of a crushing blow remains deep blue
I lift you up, to be our voice and our heart; to be our purpose and our gratitude
I watch roses ripple the waters of our collective tears, how beautiful the blooms
Gently upon the water, just as each loved one remains gently upon our thoughts
There is no fading of the loss, no words to express the pain, no end to missing them
There are only renewed and courageous adamancies; unyielding memory
We will not forget, we will not forget

well done ...

Margherita already 'high-lited' the finest line!

a fine 'penning' on the anniversary of a most
sad day for America indeed!

Your poetic voice is lovely, TD.
...and your thoughts bring comfort to the sorrow and trajedy.
