The wean off love a slow process but now must grow and stand alone un-swayed by protestations on the base of modern life. But it lingers longer, far too long, on that bed of memories and suckles on a long lost love for pretend sustenance. And it clutches tenderly those soft and fluffy feelings placed within easy reach of emotive needs. And then when unawareness falls dilemmas of the heart collide and soul, the only referee, declares death or resurrection. And so the wean off love it seems is measured, made, to coincide with spirit’s own frame of time not yet hung in consciousness. The wean off love; can it ere be when spirit lives within a “me”? Hi, Bunches of Honey! "The wean off love a slow process but now must grow and stand alone" There is both sadness AND strength in your words. Your beautiful spirit can rise above all mundane concerns. Fly, beautiful poetess! Fly! Sending a loving hug your way, Linda |
