I decorated the room in poetry, started drinking early today- maybe that's the way to see a light where I can say what a fine day but hey reckon it might be time for me to pack a bag and slip away. I came to believe somewhere in my old, between summer heat and winter cold, that maybe nothing really makes sense like I once thought and fought to make a difference. What a fine day but hey... what else can I say about my picket fence? |

The proverbial picket fence often needs some repairs and another coat of paint every now and then. Get out the paintbrush, Darlin' Dixie. It will most likely be worth the effort. Warm, understanding hug, Linda |

Sometimes things arent meant to make sense and often when that is happening to me i let go and go with the flow till it does come back to making sense...hang in and stay awhile...by the way, greatly expressed poem...thank you.. Goldenrose. Friendship is Love without his wings. Lord Byron. |

Hi Dixie - Nothing makes sense in this thing called life - once we know that can we then enjoy it? I'm sure you have much more to say about your "picket fence" and in the 'saying' repair work is no doubt being undertaken. Remember that all days are good days if we think they are. Enjoyed your musings here. Helen |

Sometimes your poetry just hits to close to home and I don't want to talk about it-I took a pass on commenting on the first read on this one too.(my bad) So girlie, I'll try to do better at letting you know you rang my bell. |

You always make for a fine read, dear Dixie! There is a sense in everything I believe, but we can't see it most of the time ... maybe later on. Love, Margherita |

Well written. Isn't funny how we drink to allow the background 'noise' to catch up with our silly foreground thoughts. As always, Dixie, I wish you well. s'Lainte! c. |

As long as you keep saying something, I'll enjoy reading about your "picket fence." Hugs, poetess. |
