I don't know what to do
what to do

the little voice
my little muse here says,
"wait wait"

She came at me just like it was instinct
automatic pilot
she walked in the door of the restaurant
her birthday

made a bee line for me
came at me for a kiss
and at the last moment
slightly turned, but I still caught most of her lips

we sat down
we smiled
what happened?
we didn't talk about it

just like it was a normal thing

lunch lunch
stolen moments
in a rush
in her workday

presents
the book
the bible
and 3 little boxes she was too nervous to open in front of me

2 little crystal Šneks (Shneks Snails)
her favorite ani-male

she couldnt eat the cake
I didnt get to sing Happy Birthday to her
maybe Saturday
and she left
running late

to kiss
this time distinctly presenting the cheeks
to kiss
the Czech way, the familiar friendly way

and out the door
there goes my love
running away

Sound like the Czech way to kiss is a tease, and leaves you wanting more. Very cute!
