Her Faith |

Her Faith It was, I guess, A matter of trust. Faith is such a thin line For lives to hang on. Her eyes saw only The best in me. I gave her only the worst. Effort was enough to Make it last for a few years. Finally,the inertia slowed and it ran its course. The ghosts of us Still haunt my life, More powerful in the aftermath And having more of an impact now Then ever when it was real. Her faith, too thin a line to hang a love on.
