Cat on a Hot Terracotta Housetop (Canard) As a canard she slaps dignity square in the face, and speedily pokes out the eyes of virtue. Her words can be almost teasingly soothing, yet, her smile is filled with the teeth of shark. However, it is not her bite of shinny white steel, to be wary of… Instead, it is her whining teary words of hurt and pain and tragedy of heart – the mistreatment… “Oh the Trepidation…” Her sweet song of obligation. And like a cat which is unable to stand motionless listen, and be saintly satisfied, she digs her claws into the clay tile and annoyingly howls for attention… |

Well expressed, JL. Got to be wary of those cat like canards - so very many of them around these days. Helen |

well constructed... you might want to check spelling on Whinny... if you were refering to whines and not horses. ;-) enjoyed this, as it uses a great deal of metaphor as well as imagery to convey the meaning... indeed, a good read. |

CPAT HAIR Thanks for reading. You scared me. What me? Misspell? No way!! LOL I did look it up though the whining I am trying to offer is: Whining --- a feeble, peevish complaint. |
