Touching, evocative, sad, and exquisitely visual---for I daresay we have all at least seen pictures or heard descriptions of driftwood's appearance. Yet it appears you are shipwrecked among friends here. And despite it all, I DO like that you rhymed this! |

I have seen Driftwood IV posted but I thought that since I had missed the opening entry that I wouldn`t be able to follow the poem. ----- Returning to Driftwood, excellent use of metaphor makes this a worthy read, even if it makes me feel blue afterwards. |

I know that piece of driftwood. Her bark was worse than her bite. She got whittled down by past affairs and now drinks to the memory of the sap that left her high and dry... I like your style, miss! |
