The sky
Is filled with cherries,
Red tears,
As a sun
Falling,
As the rain
In the turquoise blue plate
of lovers
Who fire.
Only one
Will be enough
To break the torment
Of this tree without sleep.
Love and liberty
are fruits
with pits,
red as blood.

I`m seeing this as an image of lying beneath a cherry tree, looking up, at least overtly.. because the metaphorical war is also apparant.. wonderful

Amaryllis, you are the real poet, you found a key of the poem I even didn't think about, this is so true that the poem takes place in a tree situation and I love the way you shared this poetic images...
