Thank you, even if I cannot be near. Thank you, even if your deep thoughts I won't hear. Thank you, though my heart feels pierced with a spear.Thank you, whether I can be acknowledged, or clear. Thank you, though the pain of distance does sear. Thank you, even if it's loneliness I fear. This may all sound like I am not sincere. It may seem superfluous, or like a veneer. Thank you, and to say truly, I mean it my dear. Life is meant to be enjoyed, not just endured. |

Well then if nothing is more rewarding than gratitude...Thank you everyone. Things have gotten suddenly more difficult in life,despite my blessings, and this outlet to write has helped. Especially thankful to this community of talented writers. Life is meant to be enjoyed, not just endured. |
