that gravy canyon in slow simmering swirl a bubble of dawn belches from its echos then subsides back into fog belly seclusion I rattle my metal sword against redwoods that have guarded oblivian longer than god but his memory is substitution mostly now as candle diamonds are wax sky residue pock marked indentions intentially acned so old shoe lovers can feel their blindness when they walk at night holding finger bones in the grasp of anothers sentimental sediment concluding those reclusive pages of love songs they spread on rails as penny shaped momentos ___________ daark |
