Dreams on a Feather She could almost taste as tears fell to waist Bitter loneliness Forgotten kindness She felt so heavy she couldn't levy The strength she had lost At emotions cost She was a child Who felt so veiled Her dreams flowed away Just like child's play To think... She could have cured cancer Or became a dancer A dirty mouthed poet who cursed and cussed it But dreams are on a feather Not meant for bad weather So delicate and fair That you can't even bare What a child can do better then you --Juju Dedicated to my nephew everyone is so hard on. (Yeah I know the noun is female.... -Juju |
