I forgave her. Pertaining to her thoughts I gave my mouth to the right side of her belly, Like a small knitted cloth Nestling on the quiet bed of our room, Her green, forest eyes Cradling to a small babies breath Her skin gave way to fall, To the portraits of faceless trees, I sat with her on the chestnut floor, My thoughts pertaining to her white blouse As it gently rested on the floor. |
