a life of acceptance Growing life from a confined space, bursts forth into an open place. Seeking to share joy will displace, the sadness that can exist. Fear and doubt tend to interlace. They impede momentum, cause an about-face. Yet to unlock the truth lined case, the key to love must not resist. Yielding to acceptance is not a quick race. Better to take on a marathon pace. Admitting shortcomings is not a disgrace, but nourishment on which to subsist. Life is meant to be enjoyed, not just endured. |

Wise words and much deserving of a response. Thank you for sharing your poetry - I will keep my eyes out for more that you share. I believe that all poems here deserve a response - even it is a thank you for sharing. Yours is good and never should have passed by with no comments attached to it. Good job - please continue to share with us. Alison |

Ah, it took me many years to understand the logic of your poem, Novus_Os. |

And yet I think that once we've "yielded to acceptance" everything turns upside down and we start again on that road to acceptance. Enjoyed your words! Helen |

Like this very much Novus Many truths within that blossom out through the negatives of life. "Admitting shortcomings is not a disgrace, but nourishment on which to subsist." "Seeking to share joy will displace, the sadness that can exist." Those are wonderfully positive poetic thoughts and a good lesson for all. Very enjoyable read! Eric |

Good for rhyming! Marathon pace, though? I am sorry about that, for if it's to take that long, something is amiss---and that something not necessarily primarily with the Poet-experiencer here, but with conflicted others, (Thx 4 the bumps on this topic. Was gladdened a little in reading this work and these comments.) |
