I'm left in the dark, Alone with this broken heart I'm left with no light, Alone with this regret I wish I could turn back the time, To be someone better I wish I'm a time traveler, To see how will you do in the future. and.. Now I'm left with this pain, For being heartless to you, Now I'm left with this regret, For being cruel to you I'm really sorry dear, I really really do, For what I've done, For what I've said. but We'll never be together again, it won't work out, It just won't work out, When I'm the only one who needs you. so goodbye I wrote this yesterday morning and sent it to the one I love,we've broke up weeks ago,but until now I still love her and will always do.I regret letting her go and I'll be haunted by this regret for the rest of my life,I did it because it is the best for her. You're very honest in your post script note. I think you may get over it enough to get on with your life but you will never forget and that's human nature. Love is tricky stuff but we all need it. I really enjoyed reading your writing here. Eric |

Sometimes, poet, even women give this very answer.... and it is always part of the learning to grow process... kudos on your honesty. Hugs for the holidays. |
