you did that thing with your hair pretending you were nervous but I knew you had studied language of the body and seduction too advanced degrees of something like that that you tucked between your breast friends and dared me to glace there quickly as if a moment were ever long enough but my eyes were closed by then just sipping the perfume you spilled and blotted with some morning fog so it would be everywhere I went later and I would taste it on my own skin just to make me hungry enough to mention that we should do dinner in malibu where the sun would set down behind you and I could pretend she held my interest _____________ daark (jaguars of glass) |
