Cognac and French Kisses

The bargirl Nancy knew that just
as soon as I came into the club
I would play "Like a Rolling Stone"
first and then follow it up with
"Barbara Ann" and anyway she was
just a little bit bored before me
and my friend came in for some
hot french coffee with a shot of cognac,
then she would proceed to warm us up
by rubbing our neck and back
and in my friends case a little more
because she had a thing for him,
him being Specialist/4 James Jones,
track vehicle mechanic and operator,
U.S. Army in Europe, Elvis Impersonator,
Gods Gift to Girls and world traveler.
He was my best friend and his girlfriend
Nancy was special too; come to think of it
I think that was when and where I drank my
first cognac and kissed my first French girl.

I like it. Can just about see the scene, as you "scene" it, from your words.

It can get cold outside in that country, and that's no "Nancy boy" wisecrack.
