I can freeze time and go back to somewhere yesterday
and drink the coffee that I left on the table
Still hot.
I'll go back and look into your eyes
and tell you who I am
but you wont see me
as I'm still trapped in my head
and Time seems irrelevant
you are irrelevant.
But I dont know how to let go.
I go into your arms,
Somewhere yesterday
I'll go back and change it all for the better
and do everything right
I'll have you
Even if it isn't real
This isn't real either.
Nothing is.
I go into your arms.
I'll go back and remember to turn the stove off that day
and read the note I left for myself
Reminding me to believe this is real
I go into your arms
I never let you go
As I'm still trapped in my head,
Somewhere yesterday
