Hold me as tight as you can
Tell me everything will be alright
I have done horrible things to you
It haunts me in my dreams every night

You have my heart, soul, and promise
Promise that I will never hurt you
You deserve more than I have given
I love you, please believe that it's *true*

I'll do anything for you, baby
To stay with you the rest of our life
Please forgive me for everything I've done
And one day, PLEASE take me as your wife

OMG I haven't been on here in FOREVER!
Any old faces??
I miss writing.. I go back and read my old poetry and I'm like...wow.. I was good. Haha

Yes, good luck to the author/protagonist on this. Were those unworthy things done so screwed-up as to be beyond restitution somehow? There are always ways to try, though it can be painful, particularly emotionally. This reader just wonders about that a little.

An interesting and thoughtful write.
