Let the world Go to Hell for an hour Let talk and thought of talk Stand outside in the failing light All that matters to our hope of flight Is this lambent moment of desire Shadows flicker on pictured walls Perhaps a dreaming ghost or two Once afire as we are now Haunts this mist in humid air Nothing consoles us in our end Save the joy of pleasures Remembering The moon ascends As the sun goes down In a not so distance The night bird calls This is weird you say As you shed your clothes Casting them on the floor . |
