A Name Without a Face Feelings of indifference For you were never near To share my joys To ease my pain You were a mystery That I could not solve So I gave up trying Now they say You're on your way How should I act? What should I feel? Only curiousity lingers You have never been More than just a name Life's sure is a strange game So I guess it is meant to be That you and I should meet For though our past is a memory That I was too young to remember Your blood still calls for me In the mist of my thoughts, In the hopes of a forgotten child You`re a name without a face Crying passionately to come in from the wilderness of the past Into the sanctuary... ..of the now Dedicated to my Biological father ...glad we connected before you passed on.ww |

The poem really got to me. I can truly relate to this since the last time I saw my real father at agg 12. I was scared at first but curious to see him, I haven't heard him since then, hope he's doing well. I'm glad you had the chance to see you dad before he left. |
