Fact or fiction-- play the game. "Tell me darlin', what's your name?" "Who would you like me to be, temporarily? Call me mamma, if you like-- or baby, if you like that game. But I suggest you bring your best-- hot for teacher? Take the test. Anything you like at all... I'll shrink to fit or grow quite tall. I understand you need release-- a prison guard, if you say please, sweetly to me, on your knees..." Oh yes, I can be any thing-- as long as I remain no one-- I will allow you everything, with the exclusion of my love. Now tell me-- what's my name?" |

Not touchin' this one, 'cept to say, "Every man's fantasy and every man's sin." Well written ending. Peace. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |

It's a matter of self preservation. But I'll take being smart when ever somebody is willing to offer it. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |

I hope I don't disappoint, but it's just a pome. But I do enjoy some intelligent repartee. This was actually inspired by some recent readings of Dylan Thomas (if you felt a shudder, that's him rolling over in his grave)but nod, in his collection, I found some very amusing and naughty intendre, and no comparison is intended. I just thought it refreshing to find a highly esteemed poet having so much fun. And this is what came of that. Lawsy. |

Thank you, Earl. I suppose I should have left it as a riddle, but lately my internet connection is kinda in-and-out. I thank you much for your time and consideration, and would like to send my love to all. (I was writing in character, afterall. ) |

Nicely penned to blue, Serenity. Sometimes it bothers me that everyone has some other name on the internet, and a personality they carefully cultivate. We are the souls without eyes to be seen by. Jeff |

Jeff? *laughing* If I could carry character and tone consistently--nod--I'd have written a book by now. Er..maybe? But actually, I do remember a time when I'd try to write a poem for each forum, in whatever appropriate mood for each forum. (Any mood goes for open forum, but a gloomier perspective for Dark, Spiritual for um, spiritual, just as a writing exercise.) OH. Came back to add--not that I think this is a work of art or anything, but it was fun to write just for fun again. And it wasn't enough to accomplish the feat--I tried to do it as quickly as possible. Sometimes I think those days were much more fun for me, even though the quality suffered for the quantity--I found it rather fun some nights to ramble pell mell through the forums and make my attempts at "method writing". You should try it! (Not a dare or a challenge, but it's just fun to see if you can write something that you're NOT feeling and have it be convincing--you win if someone asks if you're okay! *chuckle*) Thanks for reading, doll. |

Okay, before I read the answers, Alice, I think I need to go find the White Rabbit... he may well have the answers. This had a great Lewis Carroll feel to it. |

I am so happy to see you here, lucky... My gratitude goes out to all of you, but Dale is a heart-favorite of mine because I do feel his stream of conscious musings. As for there being "a growing number, who?" Ah well. You win a few, you lose a few. That "growing number" who wonder can cop a squat on the salutation of mah middle finger... Love to you, Dale and my love to you all. |

This has a very strong feeling of deja vu to it. So, I shall call you "Deja", whether that be your name or no. |

Where love is excluded. Only lust sadly remains. |
