The Moisture of the Morning Dew Bamboo forest you are so beautiful... Why? Is it because of your soothing colors? Is it due to your earthly textures? Is it the way you gently sway and play with the winds? Is it your gracefulness that I treasure? What are the secrets of your pleasure? The way you reach for the sky, as if it was made just for you. The way you inhabit your piece of earth, bathing in the evening rains and sucking up the morning dew. JamesLee 11January 2010 |

You know this is about the most beautiful thing you have ever written James, just simply serene scene setting. |

We had a windscreen of bamboo once. It IS so strong, stately, and tall! It took a backhoe to remove them when they re-landscaped. Like musical windchimes, they flute, and make a kind of music even as they grow skyward. I liked the poem very much, the gentle touch of thought to an unusual icon of nature. Karen |
